NewAge’s Fire Vehicle Division has been a trendsetter in the industry. Use of Subframe and Metacone for body mounting, superstructure from automobile grade – extruded aluminum profiles were a few innovations introduced to the industry by NewAge. These have now become a standard for all the users. NewAge introduced factory-built cabin extensions on fire trucks.

NewAge® also introduced specialized crew seats which had Breathing Apparatus (BA) fitted in the recesses of the backrest. Saving them precious time, Firemen can now be ready with the BA set on their back and would not require getting down from the vehicle, opening the locker and only then donning the BA set.

NewAge® was also the first to introduce Boom Towers in the Indian Fire Vehicle market. These towers are very useful for effective fire-fighting in high rise buildings. By manufacturing them in India,  NewAge®  provided a cost-effective import substitute thereby making it affordable for smaller fire brigades.
